Hi, I’m Jen. It’s 1am and I’m currently jet lagged from our latest trip.

So, what’s it all about then?

​

Well…

I’m just a mid-30’s girl making my way through life with my best mates, my husband (my taller half) and the two coolest people I know, my girls, Izzy and Pip (Zippy). I’ve always been a fan of social media, sharing what we’ve been up to with family and friends, and following some pretty awesome people in the online world. The community spirit I’ve found online is something else and I thought I’d give it a whirl and join in.

Why now?

​

I’m at a point where I’m pretty content with my career, what I attempt to fund my grand ideas with, (who am I kidding, that’s my husband and his magical spreadsheets). My girls are still little, and I want to enjoy every moment with them and take them on wild adventures. I want them to look back on their childhood and remember it being awesome and happy.

​

Where you off to then?

​

It’s not all about grand trips across the world, sometimes the magic comes from making cakes out of left-over Christmas chocolate and sharing them with family and friends, hot chocolates and movies, making a den on the trampoline, or going to the “secret island” at the beach and see what we can find in the rock pools.

But… we do love to travel. We live in the UK but like to see the world, we’re lovers of all types of travel, from Disney holidays, luxury all inclusive, budget travel, camping, cultural, city breaks, long haul, short haul, stay-cations, we’ve done them all. We’ve discovered some great hints, tips and hacks along the way and also a fair amount of “character building” experiences, which we’ll share with you in the blog posts and you never know, one day I might build up the courage to get a camera and a YouTube channel and vlog the adventures too… as with all our adventures, one step at a time!
