Hi, from the hiatus!

Where to start? It's been a while!

Well, teacher life got very busy, GCSE season hit hard and then I just got out of the rhythm of posting. And here I am at the start of a new school year, already chasing my tail with work, and attempting a come back! I never make things easy for myself, it's just not my style!

What have I been up to?

Well... mothering and teacher-ing mainly, I started making sourdough bread and to be honest it's been more of a commitment than I expected! There has still been travel and days out and plenty to write about.

What can you all look forward to?

Blogs about:

• A week away with my friends, just mums and ALL of our children - outnumbered and out-partied!

• Child free trip to Prague! What a beautiful city, the mum guilt still niggles a bit.

• A week away in Wales, just me, my Zippy tribe and the seaside!

• A summer of picnics and parks.

• Back to life, back to reality - being back at work, back to routine and trying to get that balance right.

• October half term plans - Halloween, bonfire night and one of my favourite seasons.

• CHRISTMAAAAAAAS! who doesn't love Christmas? So many activities, meals out with friends, Christmas markets, Christmas shopping, Theatre trips, Panto's, Grotto's, Ugly Christmas jumpers and generally Festive AF!

So much to write about and share. I will do my best to not fall off the blogging wheel again and with that I best get started tippy-tapping on the keyboard and get some content out!
